Workday Reporting Developer

What you’ll be doing…
- Design, develop, and maintain user-friendly Workday reports and dashboards within the Workday Financials module.
- Leverage best practices in report design to enhance layout, usability, performance, and data clarity.
- Create reports based on detailed business requirements and technical specifications.
- Collaborate directly with finance, accounting, and business stakeholders to gather, refine, and validate reporting needs.
- Translate functional and business needs into effective Workday reporting solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports delivered.
- Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for all reports.
- Troubleshoot, enhance, and optimize existing reports for better performance and usability.
- Contribute to reporting deliverables for major initiatives like GL migrations and financial transformations.
- Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams when necessary.
- Follow SDLC and change management processes diligently.

- Proven experience in developing custom Workday reports/dashboards, focusing on Workday Financials.
- Experience in report design, including translating business requirements into effective layouts.
- Skills in designing reports for executive, operational, and analytical audiences.
- Proficiency with Workday Report Writer (Advanced, Matrix, Composite reports).
- Strong understanding of financial data structures and accounting concepts.
- Experience working with stakeholders in a client-facing role.
- Ability to communicate technical and design concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- 1-2 years of experience in HCM reporting.
