What you’ll be doing…
- Create and update instructions and playbooks based on the release of new application versions used globally in manufacturing plants.
- Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to install and configure virtual servers.
- Document step-by-step software installation and application configuration procedures tailored to plant needs.
- Gather high-level requirements and test and troubleshoot issues related to new code or configurations.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI and implement AI-based solutions.
- Contribute to security lifecycle maintenance ensuring third-party applications comply with IT direction.
- Work closely with development and support teams to maintain uptime, reliability, and security.
The right person has…
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
- Experience leading technology teams with strategic and tactical responsibilities.
- Strong teamwork focus and ability to foster collaboration within and across teams.
- Knowledge of applications hosted on Kubernetes, focusing on scalability and fault tolerance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate and translate feedback and solutions.
- Creative problem-solving skills that deliver elegant solutions to complex issues.
- Experience in IT Enterprise Security concepts and implementation.
