Are You the IT – Technical Support Specialist We’re Looking For?

Our client, a dynamic and innovative company, is on the hunt for a skilled IT – Technical Support Specialist to join their team and provide exceptional desktop and laptop support on-site.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • New Device Deployment:
    – Image, prepare, and configure new desktops, laptops, and tablets for end-users.
    – Migrate user data and install the required software.
    – Deliver and set up devices at the user's workstation or office location.
    – Walk users through the operations of their new device.
    – Ensure asset tracking and inventory records are up to date upon deployment.

  • Desktop & Laptop Support:
    – Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops and laptops.
    – Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patching.
    – Configure, image, install, update, and load operating systems and applications.

  • Network Connectivity:
    – Troubleshoot wired and wireless network connection issues for end-users.

  • Peripheral & Accessory Support:
    – Set up and troubleshoot printers, scanners, webcams, and other peripherals.
    – Manage docking stations, monitors, keyboards, and other user accessories.
    – Replace and repair hardware components as needed.

  • Application Support:
    – Troubleshoot and resolve issues with desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and other productivity tools.
    – Provide installation support for web-based and locally installed applications.

  • User Support & Customer Service:
    – Provide clear, courteous, and professional communication with users.
    – Maintain accurate and timely records of support requests and resolutions.

The Right Person Has:

  • Proven experience in IT – Technical Support, specifically with desktops and laptops.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain organized records of support activities and outcomes.
  • A commitment to staying current with evolving technology and support practices.
