Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, build, and support advanced application solutions that power critical IT infrastructure. In this role, you will work alongside architects and cross-functional teams to develop scalable systems, integrate third-party technologies, and deliver high-impact data-driven solutions. What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, test, and manage application development projects supporting enterprise IT infrastructure
- Integrate third-party components and develop custom capabilities to enhance system functionality
- Maintain and improve existing codebases for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Recommend and implement process improvements, including automation of operations and maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with lead architects to design, build, and deploy scalable applications
- Work on large-scale data processing, advanced analytics, and computational/statistical modeling initiatives
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, requirements gathering, development, testing, and QA
- Conduct code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical milestone evaluations
- Support best practices, resource estimation, and knowledge sharing across teams
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in software development and application management
- Strong experience with application design, development, testing, and deployment
- Experience integrating third-party systems and APIs
- Proven ability to enhance and maintain existing codebases
- Experience with automation, process improvement, and scalable system design
- Background in large-scale data processing, analytics, or statistical modeling
- Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Ability to pass background checks as required
