What you'll be doing…
- Triage and support complex bugs identified by various internal and external software teams across multiple locations, including Michigan, Texas, California, and Taiwan.
- Lead structured root cause investigations encompassing hardware, signal integrity, power integrity, and software interactions.
- Debug high-speed interfaces such as DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, and serializer/deserializer links.
- Support high-power design troubleshooting involving PMICs, regulators, power sequencing, and thermal behavior.
- Investigate issues related to audio subsystems, clocking, and mixed-signal interactions.
- Organize next steps, track actions, and drive timely issue closure.
- Maintain clear Jira documentation with strong traceability and succinct HW/SW communication.
- Assist with diagnostic documentation for hardware-centric tests, including HW Verification, DV/PV.
- Act as a bridge between hardware, systems, and distributed software teams across various locations.
The right person has…
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- At least 2-4 years of experience in design and debugging.
- Proficiency in interfacing with software in an embedded design.
- Previous experience with Tier 1 design is highly beneficial.
- Exceptional communication skills and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
