What you’ll be doing…
- Lead the full lifecycle of Software Asset Management, from acquisition to the retirement of software assets.
- Keep our software asset records in top shape using tools like FlexNet Manager Suite, Azure Portal, and ILMT.
- Perform complex license reconciliations and analyze usage data for optimization potential.
- Ensure compliance and identify cost-saving opportunities by reconciling license entitlements against installations.
- Provide regular reports and insights on software expenditure, license utilization, and compliance status.
- Support audits by delivering precise and timely software usage data.
- Develop and implement policies and governance frameworks to enhance SAM maturity throughout the enterprise.
- Elevate automation and integration between SAM tools and various systems, ensuring streamlined operations.
- Maintain software inventory integrity in ServiceNow SAM Pro through diligent data management.
The right candidate has…
- Expertise in ServiceNow SAM Pro or similar SAM platforms, including configuration and reconciliation job execution.
- Strong analytic skills, with the ability to manipulate and interpret large datasets using tools such as Excel.
- A comprehensive understanding of diverse software licensing models and metrics across various vendors.
- Experience with ITIL processes and insight into how SAM interacts with Change Management, CMDB, and Procurement systems.
