What you'll be doing…
- Shipping fast against structured requirements with an emphasis on quality, ensuring rapid transitions from accepted requirements to production deployment.
- Owning your systems end-to-end, from requirements review through to production, including debugging and troubleshooting across application code, SQL Server, vendor APIs, and Azure infrastructure.
- Modernizing existing codebases alongside new development, working on extracting services, replacing legacy components, and enhancing the overall architecture.
The right person has…
- Deep experience with C#/.NET, both in latest .NET and .NET Framework apps, and familiarity with Azure Functions and Hangfire jobs.
- Strong SQL Server skills including T-SQL, query and index tuning with knowledge of EF Core, EF6, Dapper, and ADO.NET.
- Proficiency in integration engineering, handling REST APIs, OAuth/JWT, retries, and interactions with vendor APIs such as Salesforce, DocuSign, and Stripe.
- Sound testing habits for legacy code, using xUnit/NUnit with mocking, and the ability to instigate new test projects.
- Experience in CI/CD and Azure operations, managing processes with GitHub Actions, Docker, and Azure App Service.
- Clear technical writing skills for requirements, PR narratives, and runbooks.
- Proactive behavior, recognizing and addressing potential issues independently.
Nice to have experience in the mortgage or fintech domain, with frontend experience using React/TypeScript or older technologies like jQuery and Knockout. Familiarity with Terraform, Okta, and headless CMS such as Kentico Kontent is also beneficial.
