What You’ll Be Doing…
- Formulate and design Epic systems security frameworks that cater to user needs efficiently.
- Utilize your skills to research, evaluate, and implement high-quality business processes and solutions.
- Bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders without compromising strategic goals.
- Serve as the subject matter expert in Epic applications, features for users, owners, and administrators.
- Stay updated with the latest Epic security functionalities.
- Coordinate security protocols across physical, network, and application teams.
- Facilitate access decisions and work with application teams to design system-level access.
- Establish protocols for user access authorization and system security training.
- Create and maintain procedures for user activity and system access management.
- Craft and test scenarios to ensure client requirements are integrated into system designs.
- Provide support and responses for production issues, performing root cause analysis and resolution.
The Right Person Has…
- At least seven years of relevant work experience.
- A minimum of five years of experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with at least two major Epic implementations or upgrades.
- Strong skills in documenting business requirements with excellent written and oral communication.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Flexibility and adeptness in analytical problem-solving.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management capabilities.
- A commitment to customer service excellence in line with company’s standards.
- Qualities such as being self-directed, team-oriented, and open to learning and diversity.
