What you'll be doing…
- Create, revise, and maintain 2D CAD drawings and 3D models under project direction and standards.
- Develop layouts for facilities, utilities, and process equipment including mechanical, electrical, and other scopes.
- Create contractor-ready packages for installation, procurement, quotation, construction, and bidding.
- Incorporate field verification results and updates to ensure all drawings match actual conditions.
- Coordinate drawing and model updates with engineering, production, maintenance, safety vendors, and contractors.
- Maintain CAD files, drawing registers, revisions, document-control records, and release workflows.
The right person has…
- An associate degree, technical certification, CAD/drafting certificate, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of CAD experience in industrial, manufacturing, construction, or facility environments.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D layouts, equipment layouts, and installation drawings.
- Working proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Inventor, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Autodesk Forma.
- The ability to create manufacturing-ready and construction-ready drawing packages.
- Skills in interpreting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and piping drawings.
