We are on the hunt for an experienced Senior SAP Functional Analyst with deep expertise in SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM), Production Planning (PP), and/or Materials Management (MM) to become a vital part of our Manufacturing IT team.
What you'll be doing…
- Working with cutting-edge technologies from SAP, leveraging the latest integration and support packages across SAP S/4HANA and SAP Digital Manufacturing.
- Leading requirements gathering, validation, and documentation for SAP Digital Manufacturing, PP, and/or MM solution components.
- Evaluating the current manufacturing application landscape, providing insight on solutions integrated with or absorbed into SAP S/4HANA and Digital Manufacturing, and retiring others, in line with Client’s SaaS First strategy.
- Collaborating with regional or global project teams, assisting project managers to deliver solutions using clients’ IT Solution Delivery Methodology.
- Participating in global projects that cover process teams such as Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, and Aftersales.
- Engaging with cross-functional analysts on the design, development, testing, deployment, and user training of SAP solutions.
- Leading and supporting SAP implementation and Application Management projects, focusing on business and functional process analysis, documentation, and configuration adherence to Client SDLC methodologies, including Agile.
- Ensuring solutions have comprehensive testing approaches and end-to-end process validation while collaborating with Quality Assurance teams.
- Providing Application Management support and troubleshooting production issues, working closely with ABAP developers, Basis Administrators, Infrastructure, and Operations teams.
- Supporting the introduction of new solutions to business customers and transitioning stable solutions to the sustain/operations organization.
- Creating and maintaining process documents, configuration guides, and training materials.
- Advising teams and business partners on best practices for SAP Digital Manufacturing, PP, and MM.
- Maintaining expertise in SAP configuration/customization tools and staying up-to-date with SAP roadmap and Client's standards.
- Integrating SAP software solutions within Client's environments and external partner landscapes.
- Collaborating with SAP BTP and SAP Plant Connectivity to integrate SAP with plant-floor systems.
- Complying with Client's standards and industry best practices for security, auditability, performance, and supportability.
- Demonstrating commitment to continuous learning and personal development in SAP and modern delivery techniques.
- Seeking opportunities within the SAP solution portfolio that benefit business partners and simplify the application landscape.
- Providing support and consultancy to optimize SAP system use and integrate best practices.
The right person has…
- SAP certification in SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM), PP, and/or MM.
- Understanding of manufacturing environments, with preferred experience in automotive factories or complex manufacturing.
- 8+ years of relevant SAP PP and MM project delivery experience, including configuration and non-standard functionality design.
- Hands-on ABAP development experience in ECC and/or S/4HANA.
- Extensive experience in SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP S/4HANA deployments.
- Expertise in Manufacturing and Supply Chain domains with knowledge of end-to-end business processes.
- Business-facing experience in running requirements workshops, solution design presentations, and user training.
- Experience delivering solutions in regulated environments.
- Ability to define, configure, and test SAP security roles/authorizations.
- Practical experience with middleware for interface handling.
- Exceptional communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Structured and analytical problem-solving approach.
- Ability to coordinate tasks and priorities across multiple projects and workstreams.
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills to achieve common objectives across IT, operations, and external partners.
Education Requirements…
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Business Computing, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred Skills…
- In-depth experience with Digital Manufacturing in automotive or discrete manufacturing.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management and integration with manufacturing/logistics processes.
- Experience with SAP AI capabilities and analytics/AI applications in manufacturing or supply chain use cases.
- Programming experience in ABAP, Java, Python, .NET, etc.
- Understanding of EDI transaction sets and related communication protocols.
- Knowledge of security, efficient code reuse, and software design principles in SAP-centric landscapes.
- Experience with SAP Automotive solutions.
- Integration of OpenText products with SAP.
- Good knowledge of SAP HANA database for analytics and reporting.
- Experience in data archiving technologies and strategies for large manufacturing datasets.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori (standard apps and custom extensions).
- IT/SAP consulting background and/or global stakeholder collaboration experience.
- Business Analyst certification or equivalent.
- Certification or practical experience in project management/IT solution delivery (e.g., Agile, Scrum, SAP Activate).
- Proven ability to manage tasks and priorities across multiple projects in complex, global environments.
