Our distinguished client, a leader in the industry, is seeking a talented Quality Engineer to join their innovative team and help shape the future of their products and processes.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Researching and testing the design, functionality, and maintenance of products, equipment, systems, and processes.
- Developing and enforcing quality standards to ensure product reliability and integrity.
- Reviewing and approving sampling procedures and designs, as well as instructing on recording and evaluating quality and reliability data.
- Overseeing programs that assess the precision and accuracy of production and testing equipment.
- Leading training sessions on quality control activities, as needed.
- Specializing in various areas of quality control engineering, including design, process control, and product evaluation.
- Directing a team responsible for measuring and testing product quality and reliability.
- Planning and directing activities related to the development, application, and maintenance of quality standards in industrial processes.
- Developing standards and inspection methods utilizing knowledge across engineering fields like chemical, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
- Possibly managing the overall quality control program.
The Right Person Has:
- Exceptional creativity, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for details.
- Ability to effectively lead and mentor, providing crucial performance feedback.
- Expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
- Experience with engineering software, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD) applications.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience preferred.
