Quality Assurance Analyst

Your Mission…
- Lead the review and validation of SQL and ETL outputs ensuring data accuracy and alignment with business needs.
- Craft detailed data test plans, test cases, and validation scripts focusing on Azure Synapse pipelines, stored procedures, and data transformations.
- Reconcile data across source systems, staging environments, and curated data layers within Azure frameworks.
- Execute regression testing on adapted pipelines, stored procedures, or data models to affirm no new issues arise.
- Collaborate efficiently with data engineers, ETL developers, and business analysts to resolve data inconsistencies.
- Manage comprehensive data QA documentation inclusive of test results and issue logs.
- Support developing automated data quality checks/utilizing SQL, Python, or approved toolsets.
- Drive the continuous enhancement of QA processes, frameworks, and DevOps testing integrations.
What We’re Looking For…
- Academic Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree expected.
- Communication Skills: Proficiency in articulating complex test cases to stakeholders and development teams.
- Collaboration Expertise: Ability to work in synergy with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Developers ensuring complete satisfaction of test cases.
- Comprehensive Testing Skills: Experience writing test plans, executing from scratch, and validating user expectations.
- End-to-End Testing: Capability in performing comprehensive testing including user acceptance, functionality regression, and system testing.
- Software Understanding: Familiarity with software/database development concepts, ensuring robust quality assurance.
- Process Mapping Abilities: Skillful in transforming business processes into thorough test case documentation.
- Quality Practices Knowledge: Understanding of best QA practices ensuring swift adoption and execution.
- Technical Agility: Proficient in Scrum and Agile methods for optimal project execution.
