Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager, ready to bring their skills, experience, and energy to a great, growing team in San Diego, CA.
What you'll be doing…
- Manage various regional capital and facility projects from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery.
- Coordinate and oversee strategic equipment suppliers, architects, engineers, and other professional firms.
- Implement cost-saving measures & value engineering solutions to enhance project profitability.
- Lead Capital Appropriation Requests (CAR) discussions and drive decisions.
- Oversee compliance with safety, quality of work, schedule, budget, cash flow, and project close-out activities.
- Collaborate with end-users and facility teams to incorporate MEP, HVAC, BMS, Security, and Lab Equipment requirements.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor project progress and quality.
The right person has…
- 10+ years of experience in Owner’s Rep Project management.
- 5 – 10+ years of experience working for a general contractor with a strong construction contractors background.
- Strong project planning and execution skills with a commercial or industrial focus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience with Excel and Project Management software.
- Mechanical or mixed mechanical/electrical background in MEP-related projects.
- US Citizenship and ability to work full-time onsite.
