What you'll be doing…
- Meet periodically with user groups and collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to support modernization efforts.
- Review and document existing application architecture, including data models, workflows, and stored procedures.
- Rewrite, optimize, and migrate Oracle PL/SQL packages, functions, triggers, and views for cloud environment adaptation.
- Migrate legacy Crystal Reports to a contemporary AWS-compatible reporting platform.
- Extract, map, validate, and transform data supporting ETL and database conversion activities.
- Analyze, document, and refactor core logic modules such as sentence computation to ensure accuracy in updated systems.
- Transition legacy DHTML-based UI forms to modern formats as part of system redesign.
- Document scheduled jobs and backend automation processes to support operations.

- Expert knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL including procedures, functions, triggers, packages, and views.
- Strong expertise in SQL, inclusive of query optimization and performance tuning.
- Experience with data migration, ETL workflows, and schema transformation.
- Ability to interpret legacy applications and undocumented code.
- Familiarity with legacy front-end technologies such as DHTML and HTML/JavaScript forms.
- Experience with task schedulers related to data automation.
- Preferred experience with AWS database and reporting services, BI/reporting tools like Power BI or AWS QuickSight, scripting languages (Python, PowerShell), and Offender Management or enterprise justice systems.
- Ability to work effectively with external vendor teams on modernization projects.
