? Your Role & Impact
As our PostgreSQL Database Maestro, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring our database systems are robust, reliable, and secure. Your expertise will drive the performance and scalability of our applications, directly impacting the success of our modernization initiatives. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing architectural guidance and best practices to deliver top-notch database solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of PostgreSQL database clusters, including HA/DR setups.
– Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
– Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning.
– Manage database security, backup, and recovery strategies.
– Troubleshoot and resolve database issues and performance bottlenecks.
– Automate database administration tasks using scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).
– Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.

– A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
– 10+ years of experience as a PostgreSQL Database Administrator.
– Deep expertise in PostgreSQL internals and replication technologies.
– Strong knowledge of SQL performance tuning and query optimization.
– Experience with cloud platforms like AWS RDS and monitoring tools.
– Active Top Secret Security Clearance is required.
– Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
