Our client is seeking an experienced Paint Engineer, ready to bring their skills, experience, and energy to a great, growing team.
What you'll be doing…
- Lead planning, evaluations, and implementations for new colors and new materials in the Body Paint and Bumper Paint shops.
- Conduct lab workability and on-line testing for new materials.
- Establish necessary process controls and parameters for new materials and technologies in a cross-functional environment.
- Lead materials-related problem-solving efforts across multiple divisions as necessary.
- Evaluate the CPU impact and assess the environmental effects of new materials and technologies.
The right person has…
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related experience.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel for analysis and PowerPoint for presentations.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- 3+ years of project management experience working across multiple functions.
- 2+ years of experience in color and appearance evaluations.
- 1+ year of experience in paint design.
