Our client is seeking an experienced Mobile Engineer 3, ready to bring their skills, experience, and energy to a great, growing team.
What you'll be doing…
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across multiple facilities.
- Perform maintenance, monitoring repairs to the Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems.
- Travel between multiple facilities to ensure their proper function.
- Maintain responsibility for facility services, preventative maintenance, purchasing, and inventory control.
- Clean, inspect, calibrate, and change parts to maintain HVAC systems at optimum performance levels.
- Record readings and make necessary adjustments for proper operation of equipment.
- Comply with policies for safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Perform periodic checks of tool and instrument inventory.
- Monitor quality and pricing of maintenance work performed by outside contractors.
- Comply with all safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping and safety of work areas.
The right person has…
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 5-7 years of experience in maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
- EPA 608 Type II Certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.
- Well-rounded skills, including light plumbing and electrical.
- Great communication skills.
- Preferred: Commercial HVAC experience and EPA 608 Universal Certification.
- Preferred: Two years of trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration, and HVAC.
