Our client is seeking an experienced Mobile Engineer 3, ready to bring their skills, experience, and energy to a great, growing team in Columbia SC or Florence SC.
What you'll be doing…
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across multiple facilities.
- Perform maintenance and monitoring repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems.
- Travel between facilities to ensure proper function and compliance with applicable standards.
- Maintain facility services including preventative maintenance, purchasing, inventory control, and contracted maintenance.
- Maintain HVAC systems and associated equipment to ensure optimum performance levels.
- Ensure safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials while maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
- Monitor and evaluate maintenance work performed by outside contractors.
- Recognize safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.
The right person has…
- HVAC EPA Universal Certification.
- 5-7 years of experience in maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
- Ability to analyze and take corrective action on various commercial or industrial systems.
- Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Well-rounded technical and handyman skills (light plumbing and electrical).
- Great communication skills.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Preferred: Two years of trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration, and HVAC.
