Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Field Engineer, ready to bring their skills, experience, and energy to a great, growing team.
What you'll be doing…
- Facilitating mechanical building system startups and commissioning activities.
- Providing subject matter expert assistance in reviewing product and equipment submittals, shop drawings, engineering design drawings, and specifications, as well as contractor RFIs.
- Coordinating equipment factory testing, delivery, installation, commissioning, and handover to end-users.
- Conducting work progress inspections on a continuous basis.
- Supporting construction administration activities such as scheduling, quality confirmations, coordination meetings, and utility outages.
The right person has…
- 10+ years of experience in industrial or commercial construction projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction means and methods.
- Proficiency in drawing review and field application abilities.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Experience in mechanical system design criteria development.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
