Manufacturing Process Engineer

Our client, a leading automotive company, is on the hunt for a dedicated and skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer ready to contribute to an innovative, dynamic team!
What You’ll Be Doing…
- Lead the development and improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Propose and assess manufacturing processes and equipment for designated areas.
- Achieve plant goals and meet standards in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Coordinate effective utilization of personnel, materials, and equipment to support SPQRC initiatives.
- Evaluate expenditures for processes and equipment efficiently.
- Provide technical assistance and training for plant operations.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance personnel, and suppliers to ensure timely project completion.
- Analyze tooling and equipment, determining correct steps for resolution.
- Engage in communication with internal and external business units.
- Support plants in achieving Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, and Cost objectives.
- Facilitate compliance processes for QS9000/ISO14001/(GMS) Global Manufacturing System.
The Right Person Has…
- Expert knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Basic knowledge of tooling and automotive industry processes.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Lotus Notes or similar email communication tools.
- Capacity to collaborate with senior management to analyze and resolve issues.
- Skill in managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Teamwork skills, demonstrating the ability to work effectively with others.
Education/Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing process engineering.
