Job Opportunity: Manufacturing Process Engineer

Our client, a leading automotive company, is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their team and drive the development and improvement of their manufacturing processes and equipment.

What you'll be doing…

  • Propose and evaluate manufacturing processes and equipment to enhance assigned areas.
  • Achieve plant goals and standards in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Coordinate use of personnel, materials, and equipment to support SPQRC initiatives.
  • Evaluate process and equipment expenditures.
  • Provide technical assistance and training in plant operations.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance personnel, and suppliers for timely project completion.
  • Analyze tooling and equipment to implement appropriate solutions.
  • Communicate with internal and external business units for cohesive operations.
  • Support plant objectives in Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, and Cost.
  • Ensure compliance with QS9000/ISO14001/(GMS) Global Manufacturing System processes.

The right person has…

  • Expertise in manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Basic knowledge of tooling and automotive industry processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Lotus Notes or other email communication tools.
  • Ability to collaborate with senior management on issue resolution.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Teamwork skills and the ability to work well with others.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a related discipline.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.

Specific Responsibilities:

As a Paint Process Engineer, you will run and maintain automotive paint equipment and robots to ensure that safety, quality, and throughput metrics are met on a daily basis.

  • All shifts
