What You'll Be Doing…
- Utilizing your expertise to study time, motion, methods, and speed in maintenance, production, and other operations to establish and improve standard production rates and efficiency.
- Interpreting engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, and formulas while collaborating with management and engineering staff to ensure quality and reliability standards are met.
- Reviewing worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets to verify adherence to quality assurance specifications.
- Assisting in planning work assignments based on worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and potential delays.
- Creating charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.
The Right Person Has…
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
- Creativity, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to work as a team player with great attention to detail.
- Experience in making sketches, engineering drawings, and common computations, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
- Proficiency with CAD and other computer applications related to the engineering field.
Additional Responsibilities Include…
- Managing process equipment such as robots, PTED, operators, and more.
- Working multiple shifts, if necessary.
- Ensuring readiness for a Fit for Work assessment.
