What you'll be doing…
- Identifying and rectifying building and residential unit issues in collaboration with the Building Engineer and third-party vendors.
- Maintaining the exterior of assigned properties, including seasonal tasks like snow removal.
- Completing resident service requests within specified service level agreements and responding to after-hours calls as scheduled.
- Performing janitorial services and ensuring cleanliness, including assisting with apartment turns.
- Scheduling preventative maintenance and anticipating maintenance needs proactively.
The right person has…
- 2-5 years of experience in a maintenance technician role within an apartment community, hotel, hospital, or similar setting.
- A high school education or equivalent, with EPA certification or the willingness to obtain it within 90 days of hire.
- Proficiency with computers and technological systems, including Outlook and the Microsoft Suite.
- Ability to maintain open communication with internal and external contacts, including residents and vendors.
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including 40 hours per week and overtime as needed, with on-call shifts for emergencies.
