Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician, ready to bring their skills, experience, and energy to a great, growing team.
What you'll be doing…
- Identify building and residential unit issues, rectify issues as directed by the Building Engineer and coordinate access/repairs with third-party vendors.
- Maintain exterior of assigned property to meet seasonal needs including snow removal.
- Complete resident service requests within specified service level agreements and respond to after-hours calls as needed.
- Carry out janitorial services and assist with apartment turns.
- Collaborate with Project Management personnel and team members to facilitate access to properties and retail spaces.
- Schedule preventative maintenance and anticipate maintenance needs.
- Assist with custodial work and grounds work as necessary.
- Address water infiltration or mold with high priority.
- Provide exceptional customer service through regular interactions with residents.
The right person has…
- 2-5 years of experience in a maintenance technician role within an apartment community, hotel, hospital, or similar setting.
- Ability to maintain open lines of communication with internal and external contacts for operations and problem resolution.
- Knowledge of work-safety programs and compliance.
- Demonstrates attention to detail, quality, and a positive attitude.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Possesses proficiency in technological systems such as Outlook and Microsoft Suite.
- EPA certification or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
- Prefer knowledge of repair work such as plumbing, electric, HVAC, hot water heaters.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
