Our client is seeking an experienced Electrician, ready to bring their skills, experience, and energy to a great, growing team.
What you'll be doing…
- Test, troubleshoot, and repair control panels, electric motors, and electrical equipment.
- Isolate and repair deficits in wiring, motors, and other electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls and motor control centers.
- Bend and install rigid or PVC conduit.
- Pull electrical cables and wires in conduit.
- Utilize voltage and amperage measuring devices.
- Travel between facilities to assist with day-to-day operations.
- Complete work orders for routine repairs, maintenance, and installation of lighting and power circuits professionally and promptly.
- Maintain equipment such as switch gear, generators, and lighting systems.
- Assist in maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
- Respond to after-hour emergencies.
- Collaborate with outside contractors/vendors for repairs or servicing.
- Work with onsite contractors/vendors such as security, cleaning staff, and cafeteria personnel.
The right person has…
- NJ Journeyman's Electrical License.
- 5-8 years of commercial electrical experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Computer skills necessary to interface with machinery programs.
- Strong communication, cooperation, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift various objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Experience with high voltage equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures, NEC rules, and regulations.
- Commitment to following safety procedures according to company policies.
