Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer, ready to bring their skills, experience, and energy to a great, growing team.
What you'll be doing…
- Analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish quality and reliability objectives of finished product.
- Develop manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff and facility utilization.
- Draft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency using drafting tools and computer.
- Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost.
- Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards.
- Provide significant input and participation in the entire Plan for Every Part (PFEP) process.
- Calculate the storage needs for direct materials, including racking, floor space, and dunnage.
- Develop innovative strategies for material storage and movement, and actively seek opportunities for implementation.

- Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Basic ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations.
- Basic knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Previous experience with computer applications and software related to the engineering field, such as MS Visual Basic, MS Project, and ABAQUS.
- Proficient in managing Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), including program management and providing financial forecasts.
- Possess practical problem-solving skills, with either formal training or experience applying methodologies such as Red X or 7 Diamond.
- BS in Engineering or Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience.
