What you'll be doing…
- Carry out ongoing preventive maintenance and repair tasks on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems.
- Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems, plumbing systems, electrical distribution equipment, and relevant building interiors/exteriors.
- Conduct facility inspections and report on any conditions affecting client occupancy and operations.
- Respond efficiently to all emergencies.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on work performed, suggesting action plans.
- Develop familiarity with building automation systems, and fire/life safety systems.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and promote hazard-free work environments.
- Ensure compliance with State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
- Participate in after-hours building activities as required.
- Attend training seminars and undertake additional tasks as expected in a Mobile Engineer role.
- Utilize company-provided tools to perform job duties efficiently.
The right person has…
Required Skills & Experience
- Universal EPA 608 Certification.
- At least four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering, with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment maintenance.
- A valid state driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and climb ladders up to 30 ft.
- Availability for on-call duties and overtime.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Understanding of MEP/HVAC system design and application.
- Experience managing work orders with CMMS technology.
- Background in service roles specific to commercial facilities.
