Our client is seeking an experienced Facilities Technician, ready to bring their skills, experience, and energy to a great, growing team.
What you’ll be doing…
- Maintain and service HVAC systems including air handling equipment, air filters, and air balancing equipment.
- Service refrigeration systems such as specialty multi-circuit systems, DX systems, process chillers, and comfort chillers.
- Monitor and operate heat exchangers, centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, VAV systems, and emergency backup systems.
- Perform technical repairs and installations for plumbing, piping, tubing systems, electrical motors, and associated components.
- Analyze and diagnose system malfunctions to implement corrective actions.
- Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and manage facility repairs.
The right person has…
- 5-8 years of HVAC experience, preferably in a regulated laboratory environment.
- HVAC certification with industrial/commercial facilities experience.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, including BAS experience.
- EPA refrigerant handling certification.
- Ability to maintain detailed maintenance records and documentation.
- Proficiency in identifying and utilizing tools and equipment specific to HVAC maintenance.
