Our client is seeking an experienced Global Supply Chain Group Leader, ready to bring their skills, experience, and energy to a great, growing team.
What you'll be doing…
- Effectively utilize personnel, materials, and equipment to achieve operational goals.
- Participate in the training, development, and evaluation of team members.
- Lead high-impact teams and support launch and pilot activities.
- Ensure production cost schedules are met and quality requirements are maintained.
- Maintain awareness and communication of quality standards, utilizing resources to resolve quality issues.
- Foster positive working relationships with employees, union representatives, and management.
- Administer agreements between management and labor unions effectively and consistently.
- Promote safe work practices with a focus on ergonomics, health, and safety.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to achieve production schedules, control costs, and improve productivity.
- Analyze and respond to manufacturing plans, making operational adjustments as needed.
- Coach, teach, counsel, and mentor team leaders and members.
- Manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

- Experience in managing and leading teams while addressing performance concerns.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills.
- High analytical ability for solving complex problems.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and email.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including availability on weekends.
- At least a high school diploma or equivalent with minimum of 2 years managerial experience.
- Military background is considered a plus.
- Preferred qualifications in Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP) and Lean Manufacturing.
- Experience with supply chain or quality management and implementing build-in-quality initiatives.
