What you’ll be doing…
- Support the operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment and systems.
- Assist Mobile Engineers (HVAC/R) and Control Systems Technicians in maintenance efforts and perform tasks independently.
- Engage in maintenance and repair of building and equipment.
- Perform general interior maintenance – including HVAC/R coil cleaning, evaporator coil cleaning, and kitchen equipment upkeep.
- Conduct minor plumbing repairs.
- Maintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts.
- Complete special tasks such as painting, locksmith work, and tenant service requests.
- Be on call for after-hours emergencies as needed.
- Comply with all safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs.
- Document work performance and materials procurement as directed.
The right person has…
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Class B UST Certification.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- Completion of an applicable technical training program is desirable.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in general building repair, maintenance, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 80 lbs., use ladders up to 30 ft, and possess mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Positive background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening results.
- Ability to comply with both company and client-directed Policies & Procedures.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
