Our client is seeking an experienced Facilities Technician 5, ready to bring their skills, experience, and energy to a great, growing team.
What you'll be doing…
- Operate, inspect, and maintain all HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities for optimal efficiency and longevity.
- Ensure equipment maintenance is energy-efficient and safe, reducing downtime through anticipated repairs and meticulous record-keeping.
- Perform inspections and repairs on property interiors and exteriors, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing systems, and lighting.
- Engage in ongoing preventive and repair works on facility systems and components.
- Monitor and respond to alarms within Building Automation Systems including Siemens, Schneider, & Metasys.
- Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC systems, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, and buildings.
- Conduct facility inspections and due diligence to ensure client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Respond efficiently to emergencies and prepare detailed reports for management.
- Study and familiarize with building automation, fire/life safety systems, and associated equipment.
- Lift up to 80 lbs and climb ladders up to 30 ft.
The right person has…
- Universal EPA 608 Certification.
- At least 4 years of technical experience in building engineering, focusing on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment repair and maintenance.
- A valid state driver's license.
- Comprehensive safety procedure compliance, maintaining tidy and safe work areas.
- Knowledge of MEP/HVAC system design and application.
- Experience managing work orders with CMMS technology.
- Experience in service-related roles within commercial facilities.
