Our client is seeking an experienced Facilities Technician 4, ready to bring their skills, experience, and energy to a great, growing team.
What you’ll be doing…
- Diagnose, service, and repair refrigerant-based HVAC equipment such as VRF/VRV systems, chillers, DX units, heat pumps, and rooftop units.
- Perform refrigerant recovery, charging, leak detection, brazing, and compressor repairs in compliance with EPA and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot HVAC electrical components, low-voltage controls, sensors, and automation devices.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and document findings, repairs, and refrigerant usage.
- Support system startups, commissioning activities, and functional testing for new or upgraded equipment.
The right person has…
- EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal).
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience servicing refrigerant-based HVAC systems.
- Experience with building automation systems and technical or vocational training in HVAC or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment documentation.
- Strong documentation skills and familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
