Our client is seeking an experienced Facilities Technician 2, ready to bring their skills, experience, and energy to a great, growing team.
What you'll be doing…
- Provide electrical and mechanical support for buildings at a client campus.
- Conduct preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, plumbing, and other installed systems.
- Perform facility inspections and report on conditions impacting client occupancy and operations.
- Assist with interior maintenance, including light plumbing, furniture repair, and setting up conference rooms.
- Support the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building equipment.
- Perform light electrical work and assist HVAC technicians as needed.
- Complete hazard assessments and comply with all safety procedures.
- Maintain compliance with ordinances, codes, and laws while ensuring safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials.
The right person has…
- 1+ years of experience in general building repair and maintenance in a commercial setting.
- Experience troubleshooting and performing preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Proficiency with using a volt meter.
- Preferred experience with CMMS Work Order systems and EPA Universal certification.
