What You'll Do:
– Provide expert database and system support across various hardware and software platforms.
– Monitor and analyze system performance, making recommendations to enhance capacity and efficiency.
– Respond to automated alerts, performing diagnostics and troubleshooting to resolve software, operating system, and database issues.
– Plan and execute software and database installations, configurations, upgrades, and patching.
– Manage system and database backups, ensuring data integrity and availability.
– Collaborate with global user communities and suppliers, supporting data movement activities and refining data management processes.
– Automate workflows using tools such as Power Automate, Power BI, and other innovative technologies.
What We’re Looking For:
– Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
– Over 2 years of experience in database administration and technical support.
– Proficiency in SQL and a strong understanding of help desk tools and service level agreements.
– Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to write clear technical documentation.
– Experience with Teamcenter, NX, TcVis, and Siemens-related tools is a plus.
