Data Center Engineer level 5 – Palisades, New York
Role: Data Center Engineer
Location: Palisades, NY 10964
Duration: 3 months Contract-To-Hire
What this job involves:
- Attending daily QA/QC Meetings, Work with customer to schedule inspections and testing in PLOT.
- Coordinate with the required LOTO procedures.
- Assist with the generation of MOPs.
- Coordinate with Scholes on the energization schedule.
- Review and upload all required QA/QC documentation and testing documents from the 3rd party tester into Procore- These documents include Receipt Inspection form, Torque/Megger sheets, NETA testing forms, L2 site test report, FOD inspections (if required) for each piece of equipment.
- Perform audits and do random checks on equipment during arrival and set in place.
- Manage all issues on Procore and ensure timely closeout with the subs (schedule meetings and establish communication protocol as necessary)
Experience/Qualification:
- Must be a self-starter.
- 0-2 years of experience in an administrative or operational support role
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Basic understanding of customer service principles
- 18th Edition Wiring regulation
- Proven experience in data centre operations and maintenance.
- Strong technical background and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
