**Your Role and Impact:**
As a Critical Facility Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our facility's systems. Your expertise will ensure the reliability of essential equipment, contributing to the overall success of our operations. From preventive maintenance to emergency response, your work will be vital in keeping our facility running smoothly.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Maintain and monitor facility systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
– Adjust and maintain refrigeration, HVAC, boilers, and other mechanical/electrical equipment.
– Conduct regular inspections and resolve system malfunctions to ensure optimal performance.
– Install and repair plumbing, wiring, and critical equipment such as UPS systems and generators.
– Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and managing hazardous materials.
– Oversee contractor activities and maintain comprehensive records and logs.
– Complete training in Critical Environment Operations & HSSE and ensure compliance with emergency procedures.
**What We’re Looking For:**
– Experience in a data center or critical facility environment.
– High school diploma or GED; Operating Engineers license (SMA) or equivalent.
– Universal Technician certification for CFC’s.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and CMMS platforms.
– Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
– Additional technical certifications or licenses.
– Experience in training or facilitating critical environment protocols.
**Physical Requirements:**
– Ability to perform physical inspections and maintenance tasks, including lifting and climbing.
