Our client is seeking an experienced Cost Planning Engineer, ready to bring their skills, experience, and energy to a great, growing team.
What you'll be doing…
- Develop project estimates for building construction, renovation, or improvements of industrial and commercial buildings.
- Perform cost analysis of projects using conceptual designs or engineered drawings.
- Support other Planning group members with project cost estimations and software development.
- Collaborate with all levels including executive managers, technical experts, and construction managers.
- Travel occasionally, domestically and internationally, for meetings and observations.
- Work primarily on-site, contributing to projects in Georgetown, KY.
The right person has…
- 1-10 years of project estimating experience in construction within industrial and/or commercial settings.
- Technical knowledge of design/building construction engineering and schedule management.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Skill in creating budgetary estimates and bid proposals using CSI Master Format.
- Proficiency in analyzing contractor bids and completed project data.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
- Experience with estimating software and knowledge of construction safety programs.
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with AutoCAD or Bluebeam.
