What you'll be doing…
- Provide strong controls expertise in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Engage in hands-on technical work, rather than solely project management.
- Support installations and supplier interactions, requiring both office and plant floor work.
- Engage in approximately 40–50% meetings with the remainder as hands-on and supplier interaction.
- Assume technical leadership and supplier guidance within the role.
The right person has…
- 5–7 years of hands-on controls experience in manufacturing (closer to 7 years preferred).
- Strong background with PLCs, HMIs, and networking.
- Ability to travel as necessary for supplier and plant support.
- Possesses team-oriented and self-motivated work style.
- Optional automotive experience and familiarity with vision systems and specific industry standards.
