What You'll Be Doing…
– **Support Operations**: Assist in the inspection, maintenance, and operation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment within assigned facilities.
– **Hands-on Maintenance**: Work alongside Mobile Engineers and Control Systems Technicians for repair tasks, while also performing independent duties.
– **Interior Maintenance**: Handle general tasks such as HVAC/R coil cleaning, kitchen equipment upkeep, and basic plumbing repairs.
– **Lighting and Repairs**: Maintain lighting systems, replace bulbs and ballasts, and complete special tasks including painting, locksmith work, and tenant service requests.
– **Emergency Readiness**: Be on call for after-hours emergencies as needed.
– **Safety and Compliance**: Follow safety procedures, maintain clean work areas, identify hazards, and suggest improvements.
– **Training and Documentation**: Participate in on-going technical training and accurately document work and material procurement as directed.
The Right Person Has…
– **Required Qualifications**:
– High school diploma or GED equivalent
– Class B UST Certification
– Valid state driver’s license
– Technical training program completion is desirable
– Minimum one (1) year of experience in general building maintenance, plumbing, and electrical work
– Ability to lift 80 lbs, use ladders, and a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
– Successful completion of background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening
– **Preferred Skills**:
– Compliance with Jones Lang LaSalle and client-directed Policies & Procedures
– Self-motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team
