Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer, ready to bring their skills, experience, and energy to a great, growing team.
What you'll be doing…
- Investigate project feasibility, scope, schedule, and budget
- Create scope of work, bid package, and project specifications
- Review technical drawings, provide feedback, and negotiate changes
- Evaluate electrical power systems
- Ensure electrical and safety compliance with local and national codes
- Collaborate with 3rd party Safety Compliance Contractors
- Evaluate power distribution/breaker size/Amp draw/SCCR/Panel Loading
- Specify and confirm electrical components for industrial equipment
- Collaborate with multiple groups to design and install equipment and meet project milestones
- Supervise contractors in a green-field or brown-field work environment
- Coordinate installation with skilled trades, affiliate companies, engineers, and equipment manufacturers
- Develop countermeasures for project delays to ensure timely project completion
The right person has…
- BS in Engineering, Technical Trader Certification, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of project management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
- Experience in bid spec development and contractor negotiation
- 2+ years of technical drawing experience
- 2+ years in industrial power distribution/system design
