Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance & HVAC Engineer, ready to bring their skills, experience, and energy to a great, growing team.
What you’ll be doing…
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across multiple systems.
- Perform maintenance and monitoring repairs to Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems to ensure compliance with standards.
- Travel between multiple facilities to ensure proper function and maintenance.
- Maintain accountability for facility services, preventative maintenance, purchasing, inventory control, and contracted maintenance.
- Clean, inspect, calibrate, and change parts to maintain HVAC systems for optimal performance.
- Ensure proper operation of equipment by recording readings and making necessary adjustments.
- Comply with safety procedures and departmental policies concerning hazardous materials and workplace safety.
- Monitor the quality and pricing of maintenance work performed by outside contractors.
The right person has…
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 2-4 years of experience in maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
- Ability to analyze various Commercial or Industrial Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems, determine issues, and take corrective action.
- EPA 608 Type II Certification.
- Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- An HVAC background with 5+ years of experience and strong knowledge of general maintenance.
