What You'll Be Doing…
- Conducting preventive and repair response work on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
- Performing facility inspections, ensuring conditions meet client occupancy and operations standards.
- Handling general interior maintenance tasks like hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, and repairing office furniture systems.
- Assisting in maintenance and repair of building equipment as needed.
- Managing furniture movement and material relocation per requests.
- Replacing lighting and ballasts as necessary.
- Cleaning HVAC coils, changing filters, and belts efficiently.
- Completing any other assigned tasks.
Your Role in Safety…
- Conduct hazard assessments when required.
- Adhere to safety procedures including maintaining optimal work area conditions.
- Comply with all safety regulations and training schedules.
- Maintain adherence to legal ordinances and laws.
- Engage in defensive driving practices always.
- Safely store, use, and dispose of hazardous materials following policy.
Requirements & Experience…
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and electrical tasks.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Valid state driver’s license.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements…
- Lifting up to 80 lbs.
- Working from heights and frequently climbing, bending, and kneeling.
- Enduring extreme temperature conditions.
- Driving for extended periods.
