What You'll Be Doing…
- Lead Advanced Cyber Investigations: Conduct end-to-end forensic analysis across various platforms to uncover the root cause, scope, and impact of incidents.
- Alert Analysis and Triage: Examine alerts from multiple sources; identify true positives, and ensure prioritized response based on risk levels.
- Incident Response Playbook Development: Drive the creation and refinement of response strategies and support exercises to enhance defenses.
- Malware Analysis: Execute thorough malware assessments, memory forensics, and reverse engineering to strengthen real-time threat defense.
- Ensure Compliance and Protocol Adherence: Maintain strict chain-of-custody and ensure adherence to all relevant standards during federal investigations.
- Mentorship and Integration: Mentor mid-level staff and integrate threat intelligence across workflows to support organizational objectives.
The Right Person Has…
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant Experience: A minimum of 5 years in digital forensics or incident response within a federal setting.
- Security Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.

- Educational Enhancement: Master's degree or advanced certifications in Cybersecurity or Digital Forensics.
- Specialized Certifications: Additional accreditation in digital forensics and incident handling is a plus.
